I love all citrus smells, and I find them very mood uplifting, cheerful and fun!
Wild orange essential oil is one of them. Its smell is sweet, fresh, citrus. Let me share with you some interesting info about is as well as why I use during sessions and how you can use it at home to heal and balance your life.
I use Wild Orange Essential Oil during many of my healing sessions, such as Reiki, Meditations, Spiritual Hypnotherapy, Angel and Tarot Readings and others. In particular, I use Wild Orange Essential Oil to cleanse and purify my environment and to providing an uplifting experience to my mind, body and spirit. I also use this oil in my healing sessions as it matches our Second Chakra of unlocking Creativity and Joy center.
Through the Second Chakra, the qualities of movement and energy flow are showcased. All of our feelings, emotions, and our attachments to people exude from this chakra and through encouraging this chakra, all these positive energies get expressed. Without the use of Wild Orange Essential Oil, and the development of the Second Chakra, our energies become less favorable leading to stunted emotional growth and a disconnection from our joys and passions.
Here are some ways you can use Wild Orange Essential Oils to heal and balance your Second chakra
Over 21 days, you should complete this exercise to invite the energies of passion, joy, and creativity into your life and allow profound healing to occur.
Place a drop of Wild Orange Essential Oil into your palms and gently rub your hands together. Put your hands close to your face and inhale a few times deeply. Repeat the following affirmation over 3 minutes.
Rub your shoulders and neck, allowing the Wild Orange Essential Oil to infuse you with positivity. Keep breathing deeply and finish by meditating for a few minutes on creativity, joy, and passion!
Other uses of Wild Orange Essential Oil
Through Diffusion, and making Wild Orange Essential Oils a part of your daily morning routine, you can start your day off with an inspiring boost of citrus aroma. Wild Orange, like other citrus oils, can cause photosensitivity, so avoid using it on the skin which is directly exposed to the sun.
Diffuse Orange essential oil in your children’s play areas. They’ll love the sweet, playful scent! You can also mix Orange with other Essential oils to increase its potency and sense of joy it brings. Mix it with Lime/Lemon or Grapefruit for a sunny warm weather scent or with Cinnamon over the Christmas period. You can also use it to keep your clothes smelling fresh in your wardrobes by spritzing a Wild Orange Essential Oil and Water solution over your clothing.
On the picture is a cake I made adding just a single drop of Orange essential oil to the creme. 🙂

I have read to use a couple drops of orange oil on your toothbrush for natural teeth whitening. Is this safe to do?
Thank you so much for the opportunity to clarify further my experience with Essential Oils. It has been my experience that the use of citruses is a good source for teeth whitening. Orange Peel oil is used in doTERRA’s OnGuard whitening toothpaste along with many other oils. However I cannot say for certain that it will give you the desired effect as it is not something I have actively researched in the past. I would imagine that it may vary depending on the oil strength, its qualities and source. I would advise you to always purchase your Essential Oils for doTERRA as these are oils which I use in my spiritual practice but where you have doubts, to contact your essential oil company you bought oils from and ask them to clarify their usages.
You can also purify your home by diffusing wild orange essential oil into the air. Or you can spray some into your car, and it can double up as a non-toxic air freshener.
Orange essential oil displays photo-toxicity. It tastes bitter and if ingested in large quantities, it may result in vomiting, nausea, and loss of appetite.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to clarify further my experience with Essential Oils. You are absolutely correct, Orange Essential oils can taste bitter and in some cases cause vomiting, nausea and loss of appetite if ingested in large quantities. However this is the case with many essential oils and why it is important to only use Essential Oils only as directed.
In the case of Orange Essential oil, using a single drop or two is more than enough to achieve the desired outcome. For instance, during your meals, I used just 1 drop of Orange essential oil to enhance my cakes or my morning cereal, as it’s not only makes them delicious and uplifting, but also is a great source of vitamin C!
Before applying any of the essential oils on your skin, you should check your reaction on it on a small patch of skin first. If chosen pure oil is too strong for you, please add fractioned coconut oil to dilute it.
As Essential Oils are concentrated forms, they should never be ingested in isolation without other food. Using it as directed however in small quantities of one to two drops will provide you with a great source of Vitamin C.
I would be grateful if you could link the article on Orange Essential oil photo toxicity! It is always good to expand one’s learning opportunities.
Essential Oil of Orange can help with many of the problems, such as high blood pressure, heart health, and stomach aches, since it relaxes the abdominal and anal muscles, thereby letting the gas escape. Furthermore, it does not let additional gas form.
Please site the science studies that support these statement that orange oil causes an increase in the sense of well-being, mood elevation, or happy feelings.
